Fresh Fruits: Looking for something bright and uplifting? Check out Japanese millennial artist Yudai Nishi’s first solo exhibition in Hong Kong, titled Fresh!, at Gallery by the Harbour. Known for his bold and imaginative paintings inspired by ordinary objects in his iconic street art style, Yudai Nishi is a hot property in Japan, having collaborated with brands such as Nike, Moussy, and Parco.
Nishi is bringing 15 of his latest works to Hong Kong, all of them fun and creative interpretations of ordinary fruits and vegetables. Have fun figuring out the deconstructed shapes of apples, bananas, and look out for his signature bold, black lines. Other than the 15 fresh new paintings, a new series of limited edition products are also available at the exhibition, including umbrellas, pins, tote bags, and prints.
