Looking Up: Gagosian’s latest exhibition since its temporary closure due to Covid-19 is a show dedicated to neo-expressionist German sculptor and painter Georg Baselitz, who counts Dutch-American abstract expressionist Willem de Kooning among his influences. This exhibition showcases 13 large oil paintings depicting stark inverted silhouettes stencilled using a contract-printing technique.
