Black Gold: W Hong Kong has teamed up with Plantin Kaviari—importers of fine French produce—to deliver a thoroughly decadent afternoon tea infused with plenty of black truffle flavor. Created by Executive Chef Rafael Gil and Pastry Chef Baptiste Villfranque, the Well Truffled Afternoon Tea tea set features sweet and savory treats made with black truffle products supplied by Plantin Kaviari, including black truffle honey, Comté black truffle cheese spread, and black truffle-infused chocolate. Guests can expect to try fresh Kaviari Scallop rillettes; lobster, crab, and Ikura tartlets; deconstructed egg sandwiches, truffle honey pannacotta with blackberry, and so much more—all served with a choice of teas and coffees in the comfortable surrounds of the hotel’s WOOBar.
