Kanpai: In Japanese culture, a Bonenkai is a drinking party that is traditionally held in December to allow groups of coworkers or friends to forget the troubles of the past year while enjoying quality meals and drinks. So, it’s appropriate that Japanese restaurant UOHARU is celebrating the 2020 holiday season with an exclusive Bonenkai menu that is perfect for seeing off this strange year in style. The menu includes several appetizers, a Sashimi platter, Robatayaki dishes, and some Japanese mains. Diners will begin with appetizers like Kagoshima A4 Wagyu Sando and Manzoku Tuna & Sea Urchin Roll; and try Robatayaki dishes like Junwakei Chicken Thigh, Grilled Whole Mackerel, and Kyoto Mangaji Tougarashi Green Pepper. This will be followed by some exquisite mains, including Nanban Chicken, Homemade Beef Croquettes, A4 Wagyu Beef Foie Gras Sukiyaki, and Australian Wagyu Yaki Soba. Of course, no festive menu should be enjoyed without a good drink, so each guest will each recieve a Suntory Draught Beer and a Japan Suntory Kakubin Whisky highball.
