Big Art Small Screens: Even before the Covid-19 pandemic, Hong Kong artist Tik Ka — whose work has been shown in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Paris, New York, London, Milan and more — has always wanted to put together a virtual solo exhibition offering a cinematic viewing experience that physical shows cannot replicate. Making use of digital technologies, the show has designed special lighting, audio effects to accompany the paintings, allowing viewers to explore, zoom in, and even question the details in his works. Based on the theme of “KinDevil,” the artist created more than a hundred pieces of artwork heavily inspired by elements of superhero and Chinese heroes in pop culture, investigating the complex relationship between good and evil.
