Play is Powerful: With the ongoing pandemic, finding new ways to play has been more challenging for both adults and children. Design Spectrum’s new exhibition Play Lives is a fun dive into contemporary play culture, and hopes to rekindle our play instinct with interactive exhibits. One of the section features eight interactive installations inspired by puzzles, ping pong and more — an invitation for everyone to engage with the exhibition.
The exhibition also showcases some iconic play designs from Hong Kong, including toy figures and comic series “Old Master Q”. Both played a huge cultural role in Hong Kong’s history. Visitors can also create and assemble their own toys using parts from a capsule vending machine.
