The HK Ballet brings The Nutcracker to the stage this holiday season, so you can follow the adventures of Clara and Fritz through their magical world as they fight off the malicious Rat King and his evil army.
Starting on December 18, the ballet will see 13 performances running through ’til December 27. This year the ballet has been choreographed by Terence Kohler, while Philip Ellis will conduct the Hong Kong Sinfonietta’s live performance of this Tchaikovsky masterpiece.
Other highlights? Guest principal dancer Jurgita Dronina, from the National Ballet of Canada, will make an appearance as the beautiful Ballerina on Christmas Day’s at 7:30pm as well as on December 26 at 2:30pm.
