The Loop HK’s Guide to The Week: December 3-9, 2018
Ready to enjoy the best of Hong Kong?
Here’s where you should be eating, what you should be doing, and what you need to know for the week ahead!
Hot New Dining Options
We’re sampling the full breath of modern Vietnamese cuisine at Madam Saigon in TST, and picking up all sorts of delicious deli goods at the all-new Feather & Bone by the Mid-Levels escalator (they do build-your-own sit-down meals, too!). We’re also doing coffee catch-ups at our favorite coffee shops in Sheung Wan (spoiler: they do great brekkie plates as well!). Oh, and did we mention that Five Guys has finally arrived in Wan Chai?
Stay tuned because next week, we’re investigating the latest location for a beloved Chinese restaurant (the fifth!) and diving head first into an all-new Italian-American experience.
Upcoming Events
We’re gearing up for some wild fun in the prelude to Christmas, and thinking ahead for 2019 this week. We’re catching a concert by The Professionals (featuring a couple ex-Sex Pistols band members!), getting tickets for Jason Mraz, who’ll be in Hong Kong in May 2019, and preparing our bodies to eat all the food at the Hong Kong Food Festival.
Coming up next — we’re getting prepared for the holidays, planning to attend Hong Kong’s favorite winter carnival, and buying tickets to go west with the UK’s most successful musical duo!
