Fully Booked: After being cancelled due to the coronavirus last year, the Hong Kong Book Fair was originally rescheduled to December this year — but in super exciting news, the book fair will be taking place from July 14 to 20! Browse through over 700 exhibitors, and choose from over 600 online and offline cultural events.

This year’s theme is “inspirational and motivational reading”, where there will be a “Words to Warm the Heart” exhibition on inspirational authors such as A Nong, Cheng Kok-kong and Wu Yin-ching, featuring their manuscripts, calligraphy works and more. There will also be opportunities to meet famous foreign writers virtually, including a BBC radio host Jeremy Vines, author of The Tattooist of Auschwitz Heather Morris and translator of Chinese novels Julia Lovell.
