A Very Nordic Season: Celebrate the holidays in Swedish style with The Flying Elk. The restaurant’s “Traditional Swedish Christmas” six-course tasting menu ($498, $198 for option wine-pairing) will showcase seasonal ingredients in Nordic style. On December 31, ring in 2019 with the “Nyårsklockan (Swedish for new year) menu, a four-course feast that includes sashimi, Swedish cold cuts, mains like cod with lobster or beef ribs with foie gras, and a rich Eton mess to finish. Plus, Maximal Concepts’ group mixologist Suraj Gurung will be whipping up cocktails from 6pm-9pm!
