Stay Gold: L’ÉCOLE Asia Pacific School of Jewelry Arts has a shimmering new exhibition “The Art of Gold, 3000 Years of Chinese Treasures” showcasing 55 masterpieces of gold jewelry, including necklaces, bracelets, earrings, hairpins brooches, and belt plagues. The selection is all highly prized pieces that illustrate the best in goldsmithing from Shang dynasty to Qing dynasty, and originates from central China the Steppes, the Mongolia to the Himalayas. The exhibition is organized through four major goldsmithing techniques, namely hammering and chasing, casting, granulation, and wire and filigree.
