Tai O Let’s Go: Supported by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, Tai O Cultural Festival will run from December 24 to 27, organized by The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups and Tai O Cultural Association. Catch the spotlight event “River Parade Go!” on December 26, where more than 200 locals, together demonstrate a special dragonboat parade, a tradition that’s part of the DNA of Tai O.

Check out refurbished stores at “Tai O Stores Go!”, where 70 design students reimagine, redesign and refurbish ten old stores in a melody of traditional and creative components, allowing visitors to understand the unique story behind each store. A play will also be staged at one of the iconic stilt houses, featuring an art installation by Dr. Yeung Wai Keung Jerf. Visitors will get to see the internal structures of the stilt houses and feel the lives of fishing families through this stunningly inventive experience.
