Echo, Moss and Spill: Born in Guiyang, China and now based in Berlin, Germany, Pan Daijing is an artist and composer who works with music and the visual arts. Tai Kwun presents her first large-scale live exhibition Echo, Moss and Spill in Asia at JC Contemporary as the grand finale of the acclaimed exhibition trust & confusion. The ambitious showcase comprises of a six-hour daily performance as well as multiple video and sound installations. The intimate space immerses you into voices that explore the sense of collective solitude. Different emotions are expressed at once, from hope, despair to trance.
Pan has exhibited and performed at various institutions, museums, and festivals internationally, such the 13th Shanghai Biennale (2021), Martin Gropius Bau, Berlin (2020), Tate Modern, London (2019), and the Biennale of Moving Image, Geneva (2018).
