Hey there! Get ready to soak up the sun and have some fun because SummerFest is back at the Central Harbourfront Event Space from June 9 to July 23! This 45-day outdoor program covers over 30,000 square meters in the heart of Central and offers about 25 special activities related to the theme of this year – “Fun in the Sun” – and the best part? It’s free admission.

This year’s highlight is the “One Citybus” exhibition, where you can see the evolution of Hong Kong Island franchise buses, including retro buses, retired buses, and the current fleet. There are also photo-taking spots for visitors to capture their precious memories.

But that’s not all! You’ll find other anchor programs and facilities, such as a “Sun & Sand” area, a giant “Sunny Side Up,” a 12-meter “Great Blue Whale,” and a golden “Sunflower Field.” For the energetic folks, there’s “Hoops Wall,” “Little Drivers’ Racing Track,” “Ping Pong Fun,” and more.

Special events are scheduled for weekends, public holidays, and other days, including the “HK Camping Festival 2023,” “Hong Kong Ukulele Festival,” and the 4-day “LOCOLOCO Market – Summer Creative Fair.” Dance shows and gatherings like “Fit and Fun Night Out – Dance Party” and “X-Dimension Summer Dance Party” will keep you on your toes. Music lovers will enjoy the outdoor concerts “ShinyVibes” and “sf Winds E-pop Night,” and sports enthusiasts can participate in events like the “Hong Kong Balance Bike Carnival,” “Fit & Well – Moonlight Yoga,” and “Hong Kong Baseball5 & Baseball Six Competition.”
