Shorty and a Hottie: After several delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Shorties International Film Festival 2020 has confirmed on a date for its third edition. The festival takes place concurrently across seven countries, consisting of five days of short film screenings and a final day with an awards ceremony and a closing party. The Hive Worldwide launched the initiative three years ago to support emerging filmmakers, taking submissions from filmmakers in Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Taiwan, Thailand, Japan, and Vietnam. This year, they received over 150 submissions.
