Freedom of Mind: How are artists responding to the pandemic crisis? This new exhibition at WOAW gallery is another inspiring show featuring art made during this period of uncertainty. Presenting work by New York-based artist Sam Friedman, the “FANTASY” exhibition is about the free, happy sensations the artist feel at New York’s Rockaway Beach, interpreted in his signature abstract compositions. The series of work came about as Friedman has always had a long-time affinity for Rockaway Beach, and he remembers the happy memories he’s had in nature during the pandemic as “an otherworldly dream, a fantasy.” The exhibition is presented at WOAW Gallery in collaboration with Library Street Collective.

Where? WOAW Gallery Store, 5 Sun Street, Wan Chai

When? Through December 10, 2020
