Paper Thin: Paper is one of the most versatile media and painting tools, allowing for a range of art from personal, spontaneous and resistant to experimental. The exhibition features the work of eleven upcoming artists from Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland China, and Myanmar — all using the medium in vastly different ways. Hong Kong artist Carmen Ng reinterprets the Chinese Tong Sheng calendar, while Zun Ei Phyu from Myanmar creates layered paper-cut creations that comment on social issues.
