Tai Kwun presents “Prison Yard Festival: Music From Within”, a festival that brings 11 days of music that transcends time and space to free the soul. LENK Quartet will open the season with Quartet for the End of Time, composed by Olivier Messiaen and three of the other prisoners in a German prisoner-of-war camp in Poland in 1940, and will be ending the season with ensemble il Pomo d’Oro, performed by Polish countertenor Jakub Józef Orliński, as his Asian debut.
