The organizer of the first Poho Market wants to keep’em coming — and they’ve taken to crowdfunding to make it happen.

The plan is to have the area around Tai Ping Shan Street set up with organic produce stalls stocked by local farmers, every Saturday for the coming months. The proprietors of shops and cafes on and near the street, including teakha, have agreed to lend the spaces outside their own venues to the farmers setting up temporary stalls.

The non-profit initiative by Honestly Green is asking backers to pitch in anywhere from $50 to $750, in return for juicing boxes or up to 4 kilograms of fresh produce. Want to lend a helping hand? Check out the FringeBacker campaign before it ends on May 27!
