Light and Dark: Be inspired by the new exhibition by Japanese artist Mr.’s at Perrotin Gallery. Mr.’s showcase, “People misunderstand the me and the contents of my paintings…” (the full title would be as long as this blurb, so we’ve shortened it), takes the Japanese obsession with all things kawaii and uses it as a vehicle to explore the darker side of Japanese culture as well as the artist’s personal experiences. Expect an introspective, mind-bending experience.
