A Sophisticated Touch: Gradini’s executive chef Cano Chan has created an indulgent five-course set dinner for Valentine’s Day this year. Don’t believe us? Here’s a peek at the menu:

The first course, the Petto Di Piccione Con Croccantini Di Maiale, is a gamey, slow-cooked French wild pigeon breast balanced with a sprinkling of crispy pork rind, minty garden cress, and paired with an aromatic truffle sauce.

Chef Cano is known for his exquisite plating skills, and you can see it for yourself in the gorgeous Aragosta E Romane Scocavolfiore Creama Di Crosne E Peperoni Affumicati, a poached Maine lobster, romanesco and crosne dish that is served with a smoked bell pepper cream.

Chef Cano has also created the Valentine’s Sweet Heart for his grand finale — vibrant, edible flowers are suspended in a clear champagne jelly and delicately layered on top of a white, creamy mousse cake. The ensemble rests on a colorful bed of crumbled champagne delices and crunchy gold chocolates and promises to be a symphony of flavors and textures for the taste buds.
