Whether you’re a total whisky noob or a long-time connoisseur, there’s lots to see, eat, drink and do at the upcoming Malt Masters Whiskey Festival 2016.

Taking place at the Conrad hotel, the two-day festival will cover all things brown and malty, featuring classes, workshops, food pairing workshops and booths from distilleries around the world.

There’s a healthy representation from Japan, so look for the likes of Nikka, Yoichi, Taketsuru, and Miyagikyo. It wouldn’t be a whisky festival without some appearances from Scotland’s best distilleries, so be sure to refill your glass with nectar from Isle of Arran, Talisker, Glenlivet, Singleton and Aberlour.

Tickets (from $800) buy guests unlimited tastings, plus a “Dream Dram Token” allows you try a nip of one rare whisky. If you’re really looking to go all out, ask about the VIP Room (extra $600) where guests can taste Prometheus, a 27-year-old Scottish single-cask malt, as well as a glass of Laphroaig 16.

February 27-28, 2016. 7/F, Conrad, One Pacific Place, 88 Queensway, Admiralty. Tickets $800 from www.gormei.com.
