Pasta and More: LucAle, the modern Italian neighborhood joint in Sai Ying Pun, has unveiled an exciting selection of new dishes and menus for spring. The revamped a la carte menu still features perennial favorites such as the LucAle Shovel and Homemade Chitarra Style Spaghetti with Black Truffle, but features decadent new additions like Burrata with Red Sicilian Prawns, Melon, Avocado and Green Apples; Homemade Fettuccine Pasta (from 200 kinds of ancient wheat varieties flour), fresh Tomatoes, Boston Lobster and Basil; and “Classic” Slow Cooked Adriatic Sea Baby Cuttlefish with Peas, Tomato Sauce and Wild Fennel. The new LucAle Special menu also includes some indulgent dishes, including the Raviolo Gigante stuffed with Ricotta, Marscapone, and liquid egg yolk in black truffle sauce and pea cream; and the Rossini’s Beef Tenderloin with foie gras, spinach, and Alba black truffle.
