In the Mood for Art: To kick off the annual Love Art at The Peninsula public arts initiative, renowned Irish-British conceptual artist Sir Michael Craig-Martin will be talking about his life’s work at the University of Hong Kong this March 20, in conversation with Tim Marlow, artistic director of Britain’s Royal Academy of Arts.

The talk will focus on Craig-Martin’s illustrious contributions to British contemporary art. Besides being a celebrated artist, Craig-Martin was also a tutor at the Goldsmiths College at the University of London and had influenced an entire generation of students known collectively as the Young British Artists (YBA). Artists Damien Hirst and Julian Opie are just a few of the famous names that belong to the group.

When? 6:30pm, March 20, 2017.
