kkplus has been focused on promoting local pop art culture and presenting the diversity of local creations. For art month, kkplus invites FAF (FingerAndFish) to present the exhibition Life is a Ball from 10th to 24th March 2023. FAF, formed by two local illustrators, plays on nostalgic aesthetics and creativity to mark the first exhibition of kkplus Hysan’s new store. In addition to limited edition print art, merchandise such as 3D figures, postcards, blind box keychains, and rugs are available for purchase to totally transform your home into a neo & nostalgic Hong Kong.

The kkplus x FAF exhibition plays on three major themes: Spiritual World of Magical Tattsumi, Playful Toy Tattsumi Series & FAF’s Childhood Influences — the Hong Kong Pop Culture series. In their art piece “Holy Holy Holy” and “Hey Majesty”, they break through the boundaries of space & time and broaden the horizon of our imagination. Then the journey into the 80s & pop culture Hong Kong movies takes us to a nostalgia space as Tattsumi acts as Faye & Wang Jing-wen played by Faye Wong in the movie “Chungking Express”.
