Chopin, and then some: Classical music takes center stage at the annual Joy of Music Festival organized by The Chopin Society of Hong Kong, and this year there’ll even be some friendly dueling (aka the Hong Kong International Piano Competition) thrown in.
While pianists from all over the world vie for top spot throughout the competition, there will also be an incredible selection of piano, guitar and orchestra performances scheduled in between. Mozart, Schumann, Liszt and Brahms are just a few of the classical masters that will be revisited.
When? September 26 to October 13.
How much? $50 to $300 per person.
Where? Hong Kong City Hall.
