Clash of Cultures: After several successful pop-ups—and a pandemic-forced break—Samaira Kavatkar (aka The Bombay East Indian Girl) is back with an exciting new pop-up that delves into the legacy of Indo-Chinese cuisine. One of the oldest fusion cuisines in the world, this unique clash of culinary cultures began nearly 250 years ago with the Chinese immigrants in Kolkata. In her new pop-up, she celebrates this heritage with a full menu that includes Chicken Lollipops (a popular dish with Sichuan flavours), Vegetable Manchow Soup, and comfort food like Pork Momos and Crab Fried Rice. The meal comes with a wine-pairing that features exciting new world varietals.
