Walls Down: This year’s ifva — which stands for incubator for film and visual media in Asia, and encourages experimental viewing experiences for moving images — is happening in various online and offline spaces, from a mobile app and on car-rides to Instagram live sessions and at your own home. In the past years, the ifva carnival took place in outdoor venues in Central, but the pandemic this year has pushed the team to come up with new ideas. The result is an intriguing programming such as “FindingEva”, an interactive story on a mobile app, and “Film Tent“, in which you can view for free customized selections of ifva award-winning short films and animations. Inspired by the popularity of delivery services, the team created “Experience Zone,” where people can register for education toolkits designed and developed by local art creatives! Check out the full programming here.
