Counting Down the Hours: The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra welcomes a new decade with its traditional end of year concert. This iteration sees lively 19th century Viennese dance numbers such as waltzes and polkas by Johann Strauss II as well as the Asian premiere of The Nine Symphonies of Beethoven, a medley of the maestro’s symphonies by Dutch composer Louis Andriessen.
