Photography Art: Hong Kong International Photo Festival returns this fall with Photography Cinema as its main programme. For this year’s Photography Cinema, the festival is presenting 49 works from South and Southeast Asia. For each region, the festival is working with one curatorial partner to present new works from the area.
The curatorial partners include Angkor Photo Festival & Workshops, Chobi Mela Festival of Photography, Jakarta International Photo Festival, Lightbox Photo Library from Taiwan, PhotoBangkok, and Singapore International Photo Festival.
This year will also see the return of Satellite Exhibitions featuring 21 exhibitions, covering a wide range of topics, including culture of technology, impacts of the pandemic, reflections on the body and inner emotions, and memories of the city and nature.
