Movies Time: One of the biggest movie events in town, the Hong Kong International Film Festival is set to return as a mix of in-theater and online screenings this year from April 1 to 12. The festival will present over 190 titles from 58 countries and regions, with close to 230 screenings in cinemas and 60 screenings on their online platform. The new film starring Tony Leung and Aaron Kwok — two of the biggest Hong Kong actors — Where the Wind Blows will open the festival, while winner of the Silver Bear Grand Jury Prize at the Berlin International Film Festival The Wheel of Fortune and Fantasy is selected to the be closing film. Other films to look forward to include Golden Globes Best Foreign Language Film winner Minari by Korean-American director Lee Isaac Chung, Wife of a Spy which took home Best Director at Venice, and four newly-restored masterpieces by Wong Kar Wa including In the Mood for Love.
