A Record Of The Visual Culture In Hong Kong: There is a growing interest in the city’s ever-changing looks. The city is unique thanks to the different architectural styles it houses, such as Victorian, Bauhaus, brutalist, as well as the varying colors public housing estates employ. Even the streets of Hong Kong serve as named and unnamed artists’ canvas as a way to express themselves through graffiti. Divided into four chapters—Here, Identities, Places, and Beyond—the Hong Kong: Here and Beyond exhibition presents the visual culture of Hong Kong through multiple and intersecting perspectives, mirroring the dynamism of the city itself.
