Travel Lens: The first large-scale movie event in Hong Kong since cinemas reopened, the Hong Kong Asian Film Festival will be screening films from 16 countries under 11 sections. Look out for special programming that focuses on stories from Covid-19 epicenter Wuhan, and how young people recover from traumatic experiences. The most anticipated local productions include “Hand Rolled Cigarette” and “One Second Champion.” Other must-watches include the “I WeirDO” from Taiwan, a love story about two obsessive-compulsive teenagers shot entirely on an iPhone, the award-sweeping Korean movie “Moving On” by Yoon Dan-bi, and “Black Milk”, a film about two sisters from Mongolia. Where? The screenings will take place across six Broadway cinemas, including Broadway Cinematheque, Broadway The One, Premiere Elements, My Cinema Yoho Mall, Movie Movie Cityplaza and Palace IFC.
