Riches to Rags: This musical, commissioned by Freespace and co-produced by Freespace and the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre, brings together some of Hong Kong’s best performers, songwriters, and other theatrical talents to tell the story of Guangdong advocate Fong Tong-geng, whose suddenl loss of wealth and career lead him to embark on an unexpected path to redemption. Performed in Cantonese with Chinese and English surtitles.
