An Ensemble Of Classical Music and Natural Wonders: After its successful BBC Planet Earth II Live In Concert last summer, the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra (HKPhil) is bringing its audience under the sea this year, with BBC Blue Planet II Live In Concert. If you love the BBC docuseries, there is no chance you wouldn’t like this concert that accompanies the incredible natural wonders of our blue planet in breath-taking detail with original immersive music score by Hans Zimmer, David Fleming and Jacob Shea performed by HKPhil.
Narrated by the HKPhil trumpeter Christopher Moyse and conducted by Joshua Tan, the orchestra promises the audience a two-hour fantastical journey from icy polar seas to pulsating coral reefs, from the luminous deep sea to enormous kelp forests.
