Campus Politics: A new principal at school leads to political tension among the principal, vice-principal, teachers, school board, student council, and students. With everyone standing firm on their own set of principles, the story explores how drastically different value systems affect, clash with each other, and could perhaps come to a compromise in a local school.
The Hong Kong Repertory Theatre’s “Principle” was awarded Outstanding Production of the Year at the 28th Hong Kong Drama Awards, and Best Actor at the 2019 Shanghai One Drama Awards. It also sold out in record time at Singapore’s Huayi Festival.
The show will be in Cantonese with Chinese and English surtitles.
