Sea Stories: For a fun and family-friendly Halloween outing, the Hong Kong Maritime Museum is hosting the Museum Fantasy Tour: Meeting The Unexpected Characters, complete with a treasure hunt and pirates-themed tours. Children and adults alike can meet special characters from Hong Kong’s past and hear their stories, including boatmen from famous explorer Zheng He’s fleet and sailors from China’s first commercial ship Keying. Answer six questions right and you’ll get a Halloween treat! On the day, there’ll also be special pirate-themed gallery tours, with docents telling stories about famous Hong Kong pirate Cheung Po Tsai and Hong Kong’s history as a “pirate base”. Children dressed as pirates on the day will also get a special prize!

Where? Hong Kong Maritime Museum, Central Pier No. 8, Central

When? 2-5pm, October 31, 2020

How much? HKD30 for adults, and HKD15 for children under 18, students, seniors and disabled
