Happy Halloween: Chicaca Culture, a cultural group promoting Mexican culture in Hong Kong, is celebrating Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) with two weeks full of events and exhibitions at Cabinet of Stories. The highlight “Fantasy of the Dead” exhibition introduces how Mexicans “celebrate” and remember the dead during the joyful festival.

The exhibition will showcase an actual Día de los Muertos altar, explaining the meaning behind the objects, and share nine true stories collected about beautiful moments between someone and their deceased. Founded by four Hongkongers passionate about Latin American culture, Chicaca Culture hopes to share how Mexican culture approaches death differently compared to Chinese culture through the exhibition.
