Carnivores Only: Great purveyors of meat Grand Hyatt Steakhouse has teamed up with whisky brand Mortlach to deliver “Meats with the Beast,” an epic menu of rich, carnivore-friendly dishes pairs with excellent Scotch. The epic four-course meal kicks off with a loaded plate of 48-month Bellotta Iberico Jamon with sourdough and tomato served with a refreshing glass of Veuve Clicquot Champagne. With their appetites duly whetted, diners will then embark on a culinary odyssey featuring house-smoked salmon served with a Brown Derby cocktail made with Mortlach 12 years, followed by a decadent USDA Prime Beef Tenderloin with foie gras and truffle sauce served with Mortlach 16 years on the rocks. The final touch is a rich, classic Sticky Date Pudding accompanied by Mortlach 20 years served neat. Expect to leave very full (and perhaps slightly tipsy).
