The Taste of Tapas: Hongkong’s avid diners are in for a real treat with the arrival of aqua nueva @ Statement! Part of the Aqua Restaurant Group, the contemporary Spanish restaurant from London will be doing a three-month residency at local bastion of modern British dining, Statement. Expect the same winning formula as the exclusive Regent Street original – hyper-modern Spanish tapas and inventive cocktails – served in two exclusive brunch and dinner menus.

For dinner, aqua nueva @ Statement will be dishing up their award-winning Croquetas in five flavors (including Manchengo and black truffle, Ibérico Ham, and Boston lobster and bisque), as well as Spiced Crab Tostadas ($148), Beef short ribs with potato gratin and chimichurri ($138) and a unique spin on the classic Patatas Bravas ($98). Diners can also opt for the seven-course El Viaje tasting menu ($588) which is a true culinary journey of the pop-ups highlights.

From November 7, diners will also be able to indulge in a fabulous five-course brunch menu ($358) on weekends. The epic Spanish feast includes a choice of starters, tapas, and Mediterranean sharing platters, a choice of mains – such as the Signature black paella with seafood and Peppered rib-eye with piquillo peppers and baked potatoes, and an assortment of decadent desserts. To be culinarily inclusive, a vegetarian brunch menu will be available, too.

The food will be ably seconded by a roster of solid drinking options. Four signature cocktails from the London eatery will be available, including the refreshing and zesty Mi Casa Su Casa ($98) and Formentera Colada ($108), while at brunch, diners can add on a two-hour free-flow bubbly package (from $100).
