Seeing Stars: When music photographer Gijsbert Hanekroot took a shot of John Coltrane in 1963 — one of his first photographs — it kicked off a career of traveling the world throughout the 1960s and 70s and photographing some of the biggest music legends of the times, from Patti Smith to David Bowie. An exhibition of his work, titled “From ABBA to Zappa,” is a photography-centric showcases at the new Pound Lane location of Blue Lotus Gallery.
