Fresh Music: A relaxing outdoors music festival sounds just about perfect in this current fall weather and amid the ongoing pandemic. The yearly festival is a mix of big and small, free and ticketed, and indoors and outdoors performances — there’s something for everyone here. Jazz fans can’t miss the performance by Hong Kong’s biggest jazz musicians Ted Lo and Eugene Pao, who will play classics pieces as well as original compositions alongside a line-up of friends and local jazz artists. For a nostalgic evening, singer Angelita Li, award-winning pianist Patrick Lui and his orchestra will be performing songs and stories honoring US jazz legend Billie Holiday. Meanwhile, the free Experimental Jazz Lab brings together artists from Taiwan, Zurich and Hong Kong. There will also be free live music performances around Freespace and the Art Park during the festival — check out the full line-up here.
