The Best of CantoPop: Times Square is currently hosting CantoPop 101, an exhibition featuring the top 100 CantoPop songs from the past four decades. Read about the story behind the songs, the meaning of the lyrics, and the most iconic CantoPop lines. For those wanting to experience CantoPop, there will also be silent concerts featuring CantoPop artists Janice Vidal, Phil Lam and more. Participants will be enjoying the show wearing headphones, while the artists perform some of the most iconic CantoPop tunes. Join the Times Square “Happy Rewards” Membership, and you will be entitled to register for a song/lyrics writing workshop! The second phase of the exhibition will begin on June 1, which will focus on the future of CantoPop.
