Before It’s Too Late: Asia Society Hong Kong’s latest photo exhibition Vanishing Hong Kong – Exploring Abandoned Heritage Buildings showcases over 100 images of the city’s abandoned heritage buildings. Captured by award-winning photographer PH Yang and the urban exploration community, the images preserve the collective memory of the city’s vanishing heritage before these historic buildings are lost forever.

Many of photos feature Grade I historic buildings such as grand Hakka mansions, century-old European villas to the iconic Shaw Studios. Apart from images by PH Yang, there are over 20 photos from two invited artists Sacha Yasumoto and Dickie Fowler, as well as 43 photos selected by four distinguished judges from more than 120 submitted photos.
