What’s it all about? Inspired by Brené Brown’s Courage is Contagious, Susanna Soo, designer and founder of S.Nine by Susanna Soo, Joyce Yung, photographer, movie producer and podcast host of Powerhouse with Joyce Yung, and Tasha Ling, style consultant and creative director, join forces and invite six female role models (Antonia Da Cruz @dacruza, Gurjeet Chima @gur818, Peggy Chan @thatpeggychan, @grassroots.initiatives, Alice Ma @alicemapy, Gillian Howard @art_by_muse and Vivian Chan @vivc531) to take the lead and share their stories of a recent courageous act this International Women’s Day. 

In response to the gnawing and intensifying problem of domestic violence since the Covid outbreak, the trio also highlights Women Helping Women Hong Kong, a local charity that offers support to women in Hong Kong who suffer from household violence. 

Everyone has a role to play in gender equality and giving a voice is the first of many steps until we are there. Happy International Women’s Day!
