Making Space: This exhibition looks back at Womanifesto, a feminist art biennial that ran in Thailand from 1997 to 2008. The first edition featured 18 women artists from 10 different countries with the aim of shining the spotlight on women in an art world dominated by men. The event continued to explore women’s lives and histories through programming such as workshops and residencies. Crafting Communities features 11 artists who took part in the original Womanifesto.
