A Mexican Fiesta: BaseHall, the upscale food hall at Central’s Jardine House, is gearing up to host the mother of all Cinco de Mayo parties next month. For the celebrations, each vendor will be serving up exclusive themed dishes that will be available for one day only. Of course, Westside Taqueria will be churning our chef Esdras Ochoa’s famous tacos—alongside frozen margs, naturally—while diners will also be able to enjoy a Sinaloan-style Pollo Rostizado (roasted chicken) from Roti Tori; Cinco de Moyo Kimchi Carnitas Fries from Moyo Sik; Cheeseburger Tacos from Honbo; and a healthy Palm Mexican Wrap from Treehouse. To keep the fiesta going, BaseHall Bar will be whipping up Mexican Libres and Margaritas, while Pub 1842 will be slinging a classic Mexican cocktail with a twist, the La Paloma Oaxaca, and a specially-brewed Lager Al Pastor. Meanwhile, Mariachi Fiesta will be playing authentic Mexican folk music, and in the evening, DJ Gia Fu will hit the decks.
