Start on a High Note: The Chinese Opera Festival will be spanning two months this year. Both the First Troupe of the China National Peking Opera and the Peking Opera Theatre of Beijing will be in town for the highlight event: The Peking Opera Gala. There will also be multiple theatrical performances at venues across the city.
