Double Feature: Why not celebrate Chinese New Year with one of Hong Kong’s richest cultural traditions? The Cantonese Opera Advancement Association presents two full-length operas, each clocking in at three and a half hours: Fairy Hongluan and Beauty in Disguise. Fairy Hongluan tells the story of two princes in love with the same woman, while Beauty in Disguise charts the adventures of a plucky prime minister’s daughter during the times of the Hun invasions.
