Through the Looking Glass: Perrotin Hong Kong will be featuring a series of literally dazzling sculptural works by French blown glass artist Jean-Michel Othoniel in an exhibition that runs to the end of February.
The Wild Knot consists of red and white glass bead sculptures that take the form of the Borromean knot and was inspired by Othoniel’s visit with Mexican mathematician Aubin Arroyo.
The Precious Stonewall series meanwhile was a result of Othoniel’s residency in India, during which he collaborated with Indian glassmakers and discovered mirrored glass.
When? Until February 26, 2022.
Where? Perrotin Hong Kong, 807, K11, Atelier Victoria Dockside, 18 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui.
How much? Free admission.
